We are hiring! The Water Resources Engineer is an integral part of our Water Resources Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Tampa, FL .

How will you contribute to the team?
- Assists in roadway drainage design which includes storm drain systems, pond design, culvert analysis and bridge hydraulic analysis.
- Assist in developing hydrologic and hydraulic models, which will be used for the planning and design of stormwater management facilities, technical drainage studies, FEMA letters and reports, transportation drainage projects, other design projects.
- Conducts research on the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Performs various routine drafting and CAD assignments.
- Performs data analysis and/or data processing using ArcGIS
- Assists in the preparation and development of client proposals and presentations.
- Prepare cost estimates and technical reports and memorandums.
- Participates in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, and/or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others.
- May coordinate work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff.
- May perform other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.
What will you contribute?
- EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience, preferably with a focus in water resources.
- EDUCATION: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
- SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Good interpersonal skills, and capable of developing technical writing and communications.
- Math and drafting / CAD ability are required.
- Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, ArcGIS, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- GIS experience is preferred.
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Registered EI or EIT is desired.
