Where you could work

Bristol (now filled), Leeds (now filled), Glasgow or Edinburgh

Degree requirements: Obtained or working towards a minimum of a 2.2 Bachelor’s degree in any Health and Safety related degree or alternatively Construction Management degrees.

Join the team that delivers integrated health and safety management for clients and projects across the world. We build strong relationships by understanding the challenges our clients face, sharing their vision and helping them transform potential into reality. You could work on large prestigious infrastructure projects with clients including EDF, Gatwick Airport and the Environment Agency, or focus on smaller projects ranging from a primary school extension to a medieval fortress. We'll trust you to own your projects while supporting you to develop your skills and confidence.

As a Graduate in Health & Safety you will enjoy exposure to a wide variety of industries, clients and projects. With an unwavering commitment to safety, quality and efficiency, we are well positioned to influence behaviours and keep people safe; we believe that safety and operational excellence should be at the heart of everything we do. And while you're shaping a safer, happier, more sustainable world, we’ll support you to achieve Chartered professional status.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with the provision of fully integrated Principal Designer and CDM Advisory services to clients on projects ranging from high profile national infrastructure to smaller, local projects
  • Playing an active role in ensuring that our industry is a safer, healthier place to work, challenging unsafe practises and innovating new ways of working
  • Supporting colleagues with health and safety expertise and providing general health and safety consultancy services to clients
  • Developing existing and new clients as part of our ‘win work’ strategy.

What you’ll need

  • A passion for working in a consultancy environment
  • Embracing equality, diversity and inclusion in everything you do
  • A desire to work collaboratively with a curious approach, challenging yourself to find new solutions
  • Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team
  • Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable)
  • Comfortable to embrace agile ways of working and learning new technologies

Training and development

Our training will help you solve real-life problems from day one and develop industry skills that are highly sought after. We can offer:

  • Professional development which will be discussed throughout the Graduate Development Programme, supporting you in becoming a well-rounded H&S professional and obtaining IOSH Chartership. To achieve this, we will offer you a wide variety of work and projects to gain the requisite experience.
  • Access to core learning modules to develop your softer skills such as technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Skills for the effective application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 through the development of a sound knowledge of safety in design
  • Opportunities to travel to varied client and project locations
  • Accredited training to suit your developing role such as Fire Safety and the NEBOSH Construction certificate

Our graduate programme has been designed to give you an insight into the huge variety and the chance to explore where your own skills and interests lie. Through a combination of on-the-job learning and practical skills development within your chosen role, you’ll work on real projects from day one that offer scale and variety collaborating with others and creating meaningful impact on the world around us.
