AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation Planning / Traffic Engineering Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Atlanta, GA.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Under supervision, supports transportation planning and traffic engineering assignments which may include the following:
- Preparation of project level design traffic forecasts/projections
- Data processing (traffic counts, historical crashes, historical speeds)
- Traffic simulation and capacity analysis ranging from single intersections to large-scale corridors
- Crash analysis to identify crash patterns, probable causes, and recommendations
- GIS data mapping (crash hot spots, project location, socioeconomic data, etc)
- Preparation of written reports and presentations of project findings
- Participate in field reviews to identify operational and safety issues
- Support travel demand model development and application activities
What will you contribute?
- EXPERIENCE: 0 – 2 years
- EDUCATION: B.S. or M.S. in engineering
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Software experience preferred but not required: SYNCHRO, VISSIM, HCS, SIDRA, CUBE, ARCGIS, QGIS
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: EIT preferred but not required
