Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering and Financial Planning and Analysis

• Prepare quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets
• Prepare and review monthly reporting package and present results to management
• Communicate and assist operational senior management by explaining monthly results, quarterly forecast, budget and variance analysis

General accounting

• Review Bank reconciliations
• Review G/L analysis
• Review and improve efficiency of internal financial reporting and transactional controls
• Review and prepare inter-company agreements and profit calculations
• Approval of journal entries and reconciliations

Project Finance Support

• Review 3108s, 001 reports
• Communicate and assist project managers in respect of project performance, review and challenge project forecast including contingencies and provisions
• Approve projects in Oracle based on Contract structure
• Revenue recognition including percentage of completion
• Comprehend memos issued by tax department for new projects and ensure implementation

Qualifications for the position include:

• University degree in Accounting, and have an Accounting Designation
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting
• Ability to work well with others, with leadership qualities
• Strong analytical skills
• Autonomous
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Project Accounting  for multi-currency Experience, an asset
• Oracle (ERP) and experience with Hyperion an asset
• Candidate based in Romania
• Proficiency in Romanian & English
