Job Responsibilities:
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the fire protection engineering coordinator & preparation of drawings and technical documentation required for the execution of a project including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food, agrifood and any of Industrial processing area but not limited to:
- Review and analysis of regulatory requirement
- Basis of Design / General Fire Protection Drawings
- Hydraulic calculation for fire fighting system
- Fire Pump System design and selection (Pump curve / performance)
- Equipment Arrangement / Calculations & Technical specifications
- Fire fighting network and sprinkler coverage and head arrangement
- Bill of Materials Take off
- Knowledge and understanding of NFPA code and FM global standard
- Coordination and management of vendor and other discipline
- Technical clarification with vendor and/or sub -constructor
- Review shop drawings and execute TBE of vendor or sub-contractor
- Ensuring design work interfaces well with that of other disciplines.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and procedures
- Coordinate, oversee and supervise the Site Construction Work and liaison with site general contractor
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Disaster Prevention or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- +10 years’ experience in the mechanical engineering
- AutoCAD experience is must
- Good hand-on skill with 3D Modeling tools such as Sketch Up, 3D Max Modeling, Revit, etc.
- Additional Knowledge of 3D Design Software is added value
- (MUST) Engineering Fire Protection System – Mechanical
- Thorough Knowledge of Korea Code and local legislative regulations / International codes regulations
- Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team environment
