About the role:
- Reporting to the Modern Workplace Endpoint Solutions Manager this position provides the opportunity to join a highly skilled and motivated IT team responsible for the design and delivery of end user computing solutions to the organisation's global workforce.
- The Endpoint Solutions team is located within the Service Delivery sector of IT Services within AtkinsRéalis. The team consists of technical subject matter experts who focus on IT transformation and alignment projects across the organisation. Embracing and developing the latest technologies the team provides technical solutions which drive business success.
- The Senior Engineer will proactively work with Project and BAU tasks and handle escalated incident tickets as they arise to maintain and develop a stable and consistent computing environment. Working alongside a team of Endpoint Solution Architects, they will help ensure smooth IT transformation and introduction of new technologies to the global business.
The role will require proven experience of configuring and supporting Windows and mobile devices in an enterprise environment, ideally with the following:
- In-depth knowledge of Modern Management related services and technologies.
- Experience of Level 3 support including supporting VIP level staff.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Self-starter with ability to lead technical discussions.
- Good level of written documentation.
Technical Specialities:
- Successful candidates will be experienced in supporting the delivery of IT services in large enterprises and be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and understanding in the following areas.
- Windows 10 Configuration.
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Microsoft Intune
- Group Policy
- Logon Scripts
- Microsoft Azure AD.
