Job Responsibilities
Windows Server Management:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, DFS and other Windows server-related services.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for Windows server-related issues.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) environments, including cluster nodes, shared storage, quorum configuration, and networking. Diagnose, and resolve issues related to failover events, resource failures, or other cluster-related problems to minimize downtime.
VMware Infrastructure:
- Design, implement, and manage VMware virtualization solutions.
- Configure and maintain VMware vSphere, vCenter, and associated technologies.
- Optimize virtual infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Hyper-V Systems Administration
- Installation and Configuration: Deploy, install, configure, and maintain Hyper-V servers, clusters, and related infrastructure components.
- Virtualization Management: Manage and administer Hyper-V virtual machines, including resource allocation, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Hyper-V infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and resource utilization concerns
Infrastructure Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related problems.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and system integrations.
HPE C7000 Enclosure Management:
- Expertise in managing HPE C7000 Enclosures, including blade server configurations, networking modules, and storage.
- Perform hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and troubleshoot enclosure-related issues.
HPE Synergy 12000 Frame Handling:
- Manage and optimize HPE Synergy 12000 Frames, encompassing compute modules, storage, and networking.
- Configure and deploy Synergy Frames to meet infrastructure demands, ensuring scalability and performance.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with security policies, perform regular audits, and implement necessary security measures.
- Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities within the Windows and VMware environments.
Documentation and Best Practices:
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices for Windows and VMware environments.
- Implement industry best practices to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Experience with ITIL and ticketing tools like ServiceNow is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Continuous Learning: Staying up to date with the latest advancements in Windows/Vmware technologies and acquiring new skills to enhance system administration capabilities.
- Availability: Be available on call as per the on-call roster including on weekends to implement planned changes OR resolve production outages. Extend shift if required to resolve production outages.

Mandatory Experience & Technical skills requirements:
- 12 Plus years of progressive expertise in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, HPE C7000 Enclosure, and Synergy 12000 Frame management. Additional experience in Linux and Citrix serves as a valuable advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex infrastructure issues.
Educational qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
