Assistant Engineer to Lead Design Engineer - Utility Solutions (Geospatial) - Water Sector

We currently have an opportunity to join our Utility Solutions Mapping Team (semi – technical) in Bangalore, India where we collate utility asset information’s from various sources (web links, emails, database etc.,) and package it to our UK clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ any other stream with GIS knowledge
• 3-15 years experience in technical support with a proven track record in lieu of qualifications
• Strong Knowledge of Auto CAD Map.
• Proficient use of computers (MS Office, Word).
• Conscientious, attentive to detail, customer focused and organised
• Pro-active problem solver
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written
• Confidence in dealing with colleagues/clients within UK
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to support their business needs
• Enthusiastic, able to adopt a flexible approach to varying workload.

Responsibilities

• To provide admin/technical support to a multi-disciplinary office.
• To be a competent user of the various systems / databases / Auto CAD.
• General administration, i.e., filing and data input
• To be a team player and deliver responsibilities by meeting deadlines
• Monitor in-coming and out-going workload and inform the seniors / Team Leader of any issues.
• To liaise with the UK team on a daily basis and build up a good working relationship
• To carry out additional ad hoc activities as required by seniors / Line managers.
• To have flexibility for potentially working UK hours
• To support various Utility Solutions business units as and when required
