Assistant Engineer to Lead Design Engineer - Environmental (Acoustics)

Atkins is looking to recruit an Assistant Engineer in the field of Acoustics / Noise with 3 - 15 years of experience to join our team at our Global Technology Centre in Bangalore, India. Prior experience of acoustic consultancy is not essential; drive and enthusiasm for learning are what we are looking for.

You will be working on nationally significant and high-profile infrastructure, building and environmental projects for our clients in the UK and other parts of the world. Working as an integral part of the Acoustics team, you will be building up your experience and expertise on multi-disciplinary projects and advising clients. Through working closely with an experienced team, you will be mentored to develop your working knowledge of the relevant Design Standards and Guidelines and modelling software.

About you

The ideal applicant would have: 

• Qualifications to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field;

• An understanding of analytical methods and relevant assessment standards; 

• Good English communication skills, including writing good technical reports.
