BIM Coordinator

We are currently looking for a number of BIM Coordinators with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Qualifications and technical competencies

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years in BIM/Revit experience.
  • BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up
  • Technical proficiency of BIM LOD 300 with strong knowledge of LOD 400-500 BIM models.
  • Work closely with the BIM Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training.
  • Working experience in 3D modelling with the use of multiple software systems including Revit and Navisworks.
  • Extensive experience in CDE (BIM 360, ACC, or ProjectWise)
  • Technical management of project BIM data sets
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of BIM processes, standards, and construction processes across all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Extensive knowledge of BIM platforms and Coordination of models
  • Manage supporting software for BIM for project.
  • Oversee the implementation of BIM on new projects.
  • Assist project team with setup/utilization of Navisworks as a review/clash-tool.
  • Assist project teams with review/approval of subcontractor adherence to BIM deliverables, including BIM model submittal schedule and updates of the models to reflect as-built conditions for submittal of the record set/project close-out.
  • Must have understanding of point-cloud data for as-built model preparation.
  • Coordination of MEP Services with Architectural and structural drawings
  • Preparation of schedule quantities and material tack offs
  • Participation in BIM workshop / Clash Resolution meetings.
  • Maintain minutes and support meeting organisation for the BIM activities.
  • Perform some QA/QC on LOD 400-500 BIM models.
  • Coordination of supply chain Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP’s) to support the development of the Master Deliverables List to ensure supply chain BIM deliverables in line with the Employers Information Requirements
  • Providing Coordination reports of the interfaces between engineering disciplines / design and construction / temporary and permanent works design activities, through the BIM process
  • Coordination and development of the design to Construction through BIM processes such as 5D/ 4D
  • Thorough understanding of engineering principles and spatial coordination
  • Must have thorough understanding of ISO 19650

Experience (Advantageous)

  • Advance user of following BIM applications: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360.
  • Extensive experience of working on LOD 400-500 BIM models.
  • Contractor’s BIM experience is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience on managing MIDP / TIDP
  • CoBIE experience is a must.
