We have a strong pipeline of work as a national landscape practice across all sectors, we are looking to recruit Landscape Architects across the UK to join our team.  

This position is a unique opportunity to help develop our growing Belfast studios Landscape and Urban design reputation. Depending on your level of experience, you will have the opportunity to take leading roles on a large variety of challenging design projects with access to wider UK and International projects. You will collaborate with local and wider UK multi-disciplinary design team colleagues, using your insight and creativity to generate positive, sustainable, impactful designs. We have a strong practice design manifesto and always drive to deliver the best places for people and the planet.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Chartered Landscape Architect to join our team in Belfast, with relevant years of experience ideally Chartered or on the Pathway to Chartership.   

The position is located within our new ‘Grade A’ City Centre Office where our friendly and creative multi-disciplinary team work together in a modern collaborative office environment. Hybrid working between collaborative office days with home working is part of our culture.  
You will be involved in a diverse range of prestigious projects across Northern Ireland, Ireland and the UK including public realm, green blue infrastructure, active travel / greenways, parks, masterplanning and landscape planning.  
The role provides an excellent opportunity for career progression. 
You will have a proactive can-do attitude to work within a team and be self-motivated to work independently.  
You will have the ability to undertake site work and writing technical reports.  

How will you contribute to the team: 

  • Ability to work at all RIBA stages from concept through to detail design and implementation.  
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials and sustainable design principles. 
  • Develop detailed designs, drawings and specifications for construction. 
  • High-quality presentation and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage workload associated with multiple deadlines and projects. 
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to engage with a wide range of people across internal teams and clients. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe in Creative Cloud Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. 
  • Hand drawn skills are advantageous. 
  • GIS experience is desirable but not required. 
  • EnScape and SketchUp experience is desirable but not required.

Additional Information:
