How will you contribute to the team?

Our Rail & Transit Engineering team is looking for a Civil Engineering Co-op Student to join our growing team for 4 - 8 months.  

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Draft drawings, etc, in AutoCAD based on designer’s markups.
  • Perform routine calculations and design as directed.
  • Prepare, update and issue drawings and other documents, as directed, to document control.
  • Support analysis of technical requirements and specifications from P3 Project Agreements.
  • Interact with technical specialists, design leads and/or construction personnel.

Requirements

  • B.Eng/M.Eng Civil Engineering.
  • Registered as an EIT with PEO or similar or eligible to register.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drafting softwares.
  • Knowledgeable in routine civil calculations.
  • Interest in civil geometric design.
  • Able to take part in discussions with the team members and peers.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship skills; able to build trust and advocacy with others
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
