AtkinsRéalis’ Major Projects division is in search of a Completions Coordinator to join the East Harbour Transit Hub Alliance project team in Toronto.  The Completions Coordinator will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision. 

Your role within the team:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Generate and coordinate the substantial completions list
  • Develop and coordinate the Substantial Completion check sheets
  • Manage Set up and population of Substantial Completions Management Database.
  • Prepare the Substantial Completions schedule (with assistance from Planner) and integration of same into overall project schedule.
  • Hold Substantial Completions internal Workshops to ensure alignment between all Stakeholders and what is required from them to reach SC acceptance by the production unit throughout all project milestones.
  • Coordinate and participate in construction meetings
  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and procedures

The ideal candidate:

  • Technical degree in a Civil or construction field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in completions/quality control/quality assurance in a construction environment.
  • System and project quality auditing experience.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment, with established team building abilities
  • Problem solving abilities, contribution to new quality initiatives, striving for continuous improvements and accurate record keeping will be key to your success in this role.
