Cost Manager F+G - PRISM

Our Cost Combustible Residual (CCR) team is growing! Improve quality, analyze performance, track changes and trends on this multi-billion dollar environmental clean-up effort program. The Cost Manager serves as the client’s main contact for providing cost management services, including invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, close out administration, procurement management, earned value and value engineering. You can gather data from the team, look at metrics, identify risk indicators, and plan changes to keep the project within budget and on time while successfully achieving goals. This position will be performed remotely on East Coast hours (8:30-5:30 Eastern) with occasional travel (10%) to Georgia.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Leverage PRISM, a cost management database to manage cost, change, quantities, schedule, earned value, forecasts, actuals, and change
- With minimal supervision, reviews all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process.
- Support conversion of budgets and forecasts to use in PRISM
- Provide user training in PRISM.
- Prepares and issues periodic cost reports to senior technical staff.
- Reviews all invoices for the project and ensures that junior technical staff codes the invoices where applicable and forwards them to the client’s accounts payable department.
- With minimal supervision, provides procurement services for the client, where applicable, for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis.
- Where applicable, overviews and reports to the client on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages.
- Attends the bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams.
- With minimal supervision, provides cost information on value engineering analysis.
- With minimal supervision, carries out an earned value analysis of the project on a periodic basis.
- Reviews the contractors close out administration and ensures that they meet their contractual requirements.
- Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, plus four years relevant cost management experience.
- Prior experience using a cost management database tool such as Ares PRISM, EcoSys, Unifier, Deltek Cobra, Trimble Proliance, InEight, Monitor mPower, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Job Cost
- Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred.
- Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

$120,000 - $140,000USD/annually
