Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our  Denver,CO Marketing Group as a Digital Communications Coordinator.


MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE
  • Under general direction, executes and manages digital marketing communications strategy for SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business in the U.S. & Latin America region. Liaises with Corporate Communications and aligns regional business goals/tactics with overall corporate strategy to promote our unique content, share company news and provide campaign support to ensure we amplify our messaging in a targeted, sustained way across our chosen channels.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for the corporate social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram and SlideShare), monitoring conversations, engaging with our followers, and providing internal support and training to colleagues and teams.

JOB DUTIES
  • Management of the corporate social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram and SlideShare)
  • Management of the digital content calendar
  • Content creation, curation and copywriting for a variety of online media and formats
  • Support and guidance in relation to social media policies and training materials
  • Detailed analytics report across digital estate; identifies trends and makes recommendations to enhance audience engagement
  • Best practice advice and guidance to broader communications/marketing community and recruitment team on social media best practice, content planning, etc.
  • Content management across multiple websites, including CMS and HTML editing
  • Online branding/marketing/proofreading support and advice, including providing guidance to others on messaging, visual brand, etc. – and application of the brand and tone of voice
  • Research and internal knowledge-sharing on digital news and trends
  • Digital estate management and support, beyond social, including: website(s) and multimedia library
  • Other support for ad hoc digital initiatives, as well as broader Communications activities and general campaigns, will be required.
  • Coordinates conferences/events process.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related major OR
  • Associates degree with two years of related experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS
  • Requires a good understanding of all aspects of digital communications and social media, with experience posting to and managing content for corporate channels. Must demonstrate ability to develop strategies and create content for social media that engages our audience and helps amplify content marketing efforts.
  • Requires research, writing and editing skills with understanding of English grammar, spelling, and composition; oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to understand the strategy, values and culture of the company and apply that understanding to support the marketing, sales and strategy, and growth goals of the company.
  • Awareness of consumer behavior on digital channels (social networks, emerging channels, and web). Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and communicate effectively. Results-oriented and able to collaborate or work independently.
  • Experience coordinating company events/conferences.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be willing to work under the pressure of frequent deadlines and work extra hours as necessary.
  • Job requires ability to process paper/electronic documents and operate computer keyboard. Excellent command of the English language is essential.
  • Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
