To help realise our growth plans across the London + Southeast (L+SE) region, Faithful+ Gould is looking for respected professionals to join the team as our L+SE Head of Residential Project Management.

Based in our London & Southeast region working closely with our senior leadership team, you will co-create the strategy and business plan for the residential sector, working closely with the L+SE residential sector lead, national sector leads and members of the project management team.

You will also be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, key client account leadership, embracing digital and technological innovation, data insights to the benefit of our clients and services in the sector, and foster a collaborative and one team culture.

Faithful+Gould’s residential track record has grown significantly in the last three years and in 2022, our residential project management fee revenue was c.£5mn.  However, a large percentage of our client base is public sector led and we are very keen to now grow this to include a larger private sector client base, being the project management provider of choice on large redevelopment projects such as Earls Court, Brent Cross, St Pancras Hospital and the next residential phases of Canary Wharf.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead for Residential project management community in the L+SE region of Faithful+Gould.
  • Working with our senior sector leadership team and the L+SE Managing Director, identify strategic targets, grow our market share in the sector by maximising opportunities with existing clients, and securing work with new clients.
  • In conjunction with the L+SE residential sector lead, setting and delivering on the financial targets for the sector and business – including revenue, profit, work winning, and headcount growth.
  • Leading on business development activities and supporting L&D to upskill our rising stars. 
  • Collaborate with all other Sector and Business Leaders to share market intelligence and maximise opportunities across our complete client base and service offering.
  • Set and maintain excellent service delivery standards and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Sharing best practice across all accounts, projects and programmes in the sector to maximise the benefit to our clients.
  • In conjunction with the L+SE residential sector lead, ensure we have the highest quality marketing collateral to support client engagement activities in the sector.
  • Engage with all other offices, sectors and the wider Faithful+Gould/SNC Lavalin business to provide innovative solutions to maximise our competitive advantage.
  • Utilising your existing network in the sector to develop a number of strategic accounts to help drive growth and increase market share.
  • Utilise data and market insights to extend our business within the L+SE marketplace – this should also help to advance the commercially focused profile of F+G.
  • In conjunction with the L+SE residential sector lead, identify further investments needed to realise growth ambitions.
  • Lead on major sector projects and deliver expert market advice to clients.
  • In conjunction with the L+SE residential sector lead, exploit opportunities for conference speaking, chairing client events, preparing thought leadership material and engaging through digital media to portray F+G as a market leader.

Requirements:

  • Possess an extensive network and knowledge of the residential sector. 
  • Successful track record of leading major pursuits for national clients with large property portfolios and capital programmes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire people.
  • Detailed knowledge of our competitors, understand our market differentiators and shape them going forward.
  • Providing a strategic insight and ability to focus our business to take full advantage of the market opportunities.
  • Knowledge of market trends, main players and entry level players.
  • Member of RICS, or similar qualification.
