Job Title: Engineer (OHE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Engineer for Railway Segment. In this position, He / She shall be responsible for working on technical requirements and technical solution for turnkey Railway Projects related to Overhead Catenary System (FOCS / ROCS) from the early pursuit phase until final negotiation, contract signature and handover to the execution team. During preparation, he / she shall be part of an interdisciplinary tendering team, which will work with commercial and supply chain teams.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):

• Understanding the Requirement from the Tender Documents.
• Support in Preparation of Pre-Bid Queries and in Bid Submission.
• Preparation of Pegging Plan, Layout Plan, Sectioning Diagram and other drawings required for the submission of Tender using Software like Auto CAD, Micro Station.
• Preparation of Detailed Bill of Quantities for Complete Overhead Catenary System (FOCS/ROCS).
• Good Working Skills on Auto CAD, Micro Station.
• Preparation of Benchmark Sheet for Quantities Comparisons.
• Ability to perform calculations related to OCS that may be required during tender stage.
• Get the validation of Engineering Manager on the Engineering assumption pack gathering the Engineering outputs.

Experience & Education Required:

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with Minimum 3-5 years’ experience.
• Experience of working with railway & urban transportation customers & system integrators.
• Good knowledge of RDSO and Relevant Design Standards related to Overhead System.
