Linxon is seeking a dynamic Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The HSE Manager will play a key role in project kick-offs, maintain KPIs, and prepare HSE documents for tenders.
What will you do?
ISO Compliance:
- Utilize expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to maintain certifications.
Safety Leadership:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive HSE programs, policies, and procedures tailored to EPC and substation projects.
- Provide OSHA 30 Hour Training to project teams and ensure ongoing compliance.
Project Kickoff:
- Prepare and deliver HSE programs for new project kickoff meetings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning.
KPI Monitoring:
- Maintain and analyze monthly HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions based on KPI trends and incident investigations.
Tender Preparation:
- Prepare comprehensive HSE documents for new tenders, showcasing Linxon's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate with the tendering team to address HSE requirements and specifications.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring Linxon's adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to address compliance matters.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction, engineering, or energy industry.
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 audit experience preferred.
- OSHA 30 Hour Training certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
