Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge in Transmission & Distribution and its sub-domains including HV & EHV Substations, Power distribution networks, System planning and system studies, Transmission lines, P&C, SCADA etc.
• Experience in conceptual, tender and detail engineering of substation and transmission projects.
• Experience as Engineering manager and leading a team of engineers and technicians in delivery of T&D projects.
• Knowledge of North American and other international codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE and local Canadian utility standards.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and best global industry practices.
• Work closely with peers to ensure project delivery that will meet industry standards and specifications and meet good engineering practices.
• Maintain good working relationship with groups that support project such as other Engineering disciplines and technical practices etc.
• Coordinate design activities with other multi-discipline project team members.
• Experience in an engineering consulting environment.
• Experience in working with owners/ client engineers is an asset.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized Institution.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in the field Power Transmission and Distribution.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral English communication skills.
