Ingénieur en géotechnique pour la conception de barrages

SNC-Lavalin est à la recherche des candidats d’ingénieurs au niveau senior et intermédiaire pour rejoindre une équipe dédié à la conception et la construction des barrages.

Responsabilités:

• Participation aux investigations et études des sites de barrages
• Participation à la conception de barrages (analyse de stabilité, quantités de remblai, etc)
• Participation à la préparation des plans et devis techniques
• Participation aux analyses des soumissions
• Surveillance de chantiers pouvant  nécessiter des séjours de quelques semaines
• Supervision d’une équipe d’ingénieurs et de dessinateurs
• Participation à la formation des ingénieurs juniors
• Gestion de petits et moyens projets

Exigences:

• B.Sc.A. en génie civil ou géologique avec une Maîtrise en Géotechnique
• Membre en règle de L’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
• 10-15 années d’expérience à titre d’ingénieur en Géotechnique
• Expérience dans la construction de barrages est importante
• Bilinguisme (français, anglais) est essentiel
• Connaissance de la famille de logiciels Geo-Slope et autres analyses en éléments finis
• Expérience en analyse dynamique et sismicité (un atout)

Geotechnical engineer for design of embankment dams

SNC-Lavalin is actively seeking candidates for the positions of junior and intermediate engineers in a team focusing of the design and construction of embankment dams.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the investigations and studies on potential location for the construction of dams
• Participate in the conception of dams (stability analysis, embankment quantities, etc)
• Participation in the production of drawings and technical specifications
• Participate in the analysis of bids
• Construction  supervision, possibly requiring trips of a few weeks
• Supervision of teams of engineers and draughtspersons
• Participate in training of junior engineers
• Management of small and medium size projects

Requirements:

• B.A.Sc. in civil or geotechnical engineering plus a Master in geotechnics
• Member of l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
• Fifteen years experience as a geotechnical engineer
• An experience in the construction of dams would be important
• Bilingualism (French, English) is essential
• Knowledge of Geo-Slope software family and finite element analysis
• Knowledge of earthquake analysis would be an advantage
