Junior Project Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

As a Junior Project Engineer in our nuclear and power business, you’ll enjoy the variety of work in our fast -growing Project Engineering capability supporting a variety of exciting nuclear projects that include Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C (SZC), Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and Defence based. We have various type of projects available which range from design to site-based engineering support. This includes AtkinsRéalis delivery projects in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC and Installation amongst the options.

What you can bring:

• Passion for engineering projects or roles, delivering to safety, quality, time and cost.
• Effective communication skills - you’ll be someone who enjoys integrating quickly into diverse multi-disciplinary teams and is comfortable delivering to a diverse range of stakeholders, including those in a site environment.
• A keen eye for detail and, adherence to codes and standards.
• A key strength will your ability to work alone and as part of a team. You’ll be naturally proactive and able to report on and escalate relevant issues.

Importantly you don’t need experience within the nuclear sector - if you have experience applying multi-disciplinary technical knowledge in industries which could include Nuclear, Military, Oil & Gas or Marine and you hold a Degree, HND/C, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, we’d love to hear from you.
