Junior Transport Planner - UAE National

We are seeking a Junior Transport Planner UAE National to join our Transport Planning Practice in the Middle East based in Dubai.

 Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in various transport planning studies, including but not limited to large-scale master plan assessments, traffic impact studies, and multi-disciplinary projects, both in the public and private sectors.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and other professionals within AtkinsRéalis to ensure the timely completion of analysis, reports, and plans as assigned.

  • Maintain adherence to AtkinsRéalis Quality Manual and Procedures throughout project execution.

  • Facilitate effective coordination with internal design disciplines and external stakeholders or statutory authorities.

  • Apply technical competencies to contribute meaningfully to project objectives and outcomes.

  • Assist in the development of innovative solutions to transportation challenges, leveraging expertise to optimize mobility, accessibility, and sustainability.

  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations or workshops to communicate project findings, recommendations, and strategies to clients and stakeholders.

  • Completion of assigned tasks.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography

  • 0-2 years’ experience in the field

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound judgements. 

  • Able to work full time 5 days a week (40hrs /week)
