We are hiring! Atkins is looking for a Material Clerk - Energy role based out of our office in Oak Ridge, TN and reports to Procurement Manager.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Stops work without fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk.
• Assists the Procurement Lead in the day-to-day implementation of the Project’s Procurement Manual and procedures.
• Expediting tasks to include tracking of delivery status, compilation of reports, processing of materials.
• Coordinate internally with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, and other departments regarding lead times of received items
• Assist with purchasing tasks of low dollar value to include processing purchase requisitions, placing orders, credit card reconciliation, and other tasks as required.
• Maintains records for procurements per established Project procedures, filing, etc.
• Ensures prime contract and Project terms and conditions flowdown provisions as indicated by the Contracts Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum one year of purchasing, material control, logistics, expediting experience desired
• U.S. citizenship required for Isotek Systems, LLC, project positions.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, verbal and written, skills.
• Basic knowledge of database software, specifically, CostPoint.
• Must have good organizational skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance standards applicable to Project activities preferred.
