Role: Planning Manager

Job Overview

Linxon is seeking a talented Planning Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Planification Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines scheduling guidelines for teams and ensures implementation.

  • Define guidelines for site planning and lead pre-construction activities from tender to execution.

  • Develops procedures, standards, and best practices within the area of responsibility (Scheduling and Site planning).

  • Administrate P6 data base for the HUB including resources loaded planification.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Schedulers, planners, and Site preparators professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success and team performance.

  • Provides technical and strategic guidance and ensures resolutions of technical issues for scheduling and site preparation.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects milestones are met leading the Schedule Risk Analysis process within the organization.

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize projects schedules and resource allocation.

  • Conduct regular team status meetings and provide updates to projects stakeholders, including clients, management, and internal teams.

  • Utilize project management software and tools to track projects metrics, analyze data, and generate reports for project management and HUB leadership review.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance projects efficiency and profitability. Monitor the capture of lessons learned and its implementation on future opportunities.

  • Interface with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and foster positive relationships within the area of responsibility.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the projects lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and management, preferably in the energy or construction industry.

  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • Ability to travel as required for project meetings, site visits, and client engagements.
