**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A POOL OF CANDIDATES FOR THE RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING POSITION FOR POTENTIAL FUTURE NEEDS**

The AtkinsRéalis Rail, Transit & Mobility group designs and builds lasting rail infrastructure for cities and communities across the globe. Your role within the team:

  • Conceptual and detailed design in Trackwork and Alignment, as well as potential opportunities in other disciplines:

    • Rail Control Systems

    • Rolling Stock

    • Systems Engineering

    • Systems Safety Assurance

    • Project Management

    • Civil Design

  • Field engineering and construction support.

  • Coordination of project deliverables and associated time management/teamwork.

  • Multi-disciplinary coordination and communication.

  • Communication with clients, contractors and/or other stakeholders.

  • Drawing and documentation sign/seal (if applicable; this does not apply to EIT applicants).

  • Assistance with project management tasks such as scheduling and estimating.

  • Participation in the development of service offers (bids/pursuits).

  • Attendance at the office (Vancouver or Burnaby) at least twice per week on average.

The ideal candidate:

  • A university degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).

  • Experience in railway engineering or a related field – or a desire to learn.

  • Computer competency and familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.

  • High competency with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Good communication skills / soft skills.

  • Strong work ethic and career aspirations.

  • All levels of experience are considered.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $69,100 - $80,000 annually). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
