We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the PMO Services and Solutions Practice within Atkins ADS&T as our Professional Head of Discipline (PHoD).
As our Professional Head of Discipline, you will be the biggest advocate for PMO Services and Solutions and will inspire everyone in the profession to be as passionate as you are.
Leading our team of Technical Authorities, you will help to define and share what good looks like and represent the practice within and outside of Atkins ADS&T. You will help us to further develop our services to meet the growing and changing client needs.
Your purpose:
The objectives of a Professional Head of Discipline (PHoD) are to:
- Provide technical leadership in the discipline.
- Build technical excellence in staff.
- Support Market and sales activities, especially practice led sales.
- Share technical expertise across Atkins.
- Ensure high quality deliverables.
- Impress clients with discipline technical expertise and knowledge.
You will do this by:
- Raising the profile of the Practice Group’s technical capabilities.
- Ensuring consistency and best practice across the Practice Group.
- Facilitating the development of technical staff.
- Encouraging innovation, Keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Supporting recruitment.
What you can bring?
We are looking for someone who is passionate and experienced in the design, implementation, and management of PMOs who has a growth mindset and an innovative, fresh approach.
You will have a depth of PMO experience, foresight and aspiration to help transform our PMO services in line with the emerging technologies to implement and optimise portfolio, programme and project management offices to bring certainty to our client’s delivery as well as a strong background in sales and winning work.
You will be:
- An experienced Management Consultant with a specialism in PMO.
- Skilled in creating a common sense of purpose, providing clarity of vision and empowering teams to deliver.
- Experienced in developing and promoting digital PMO innovation to support organisations to re-imagine their PMO business model, ways of working and use of technology and data
- Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships up to C-suite level.
