We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance & Project Technical Support Representative who specializes in Rolling Stock Vehicle Manufacturing and Refurbishment to join the Rail and Transit TPO in Thunder Bay ON, providing QA representation and technical support onsite at the Project Level, for AtkinsRéalis clients.
Your role within the team
- Support QA efforts and initiatives for assigned AtkinsRéalis projects
- Provide technical support on behalf of the Client at a project level
- Represent the Client by, participating in production, quality, and design review meetings, developing project related presentations, KPIs and report development
- Monitor and Audit the supplier’s QA Processes
- Assure contract compliance on behalf of the Client
- Approve the repair and the inspection plans prepared by the supplier
- Record and communicate a periodic review of the work performed by the supplier, which includes completed work, work in progress, upcoming work, quality of completed work, additional work, inspections and/or tests, budget, issues and problems as well as any critical comments on the work and changes made to the cars

The Ideal candidate
- Have thorough understanding of Rolling Stock Vehicles electrically and mechanically.
- 7+ years’ experiences in Rail and Transit industry
- 5 years’ experiences in Rolling Stock Vehicle Manufacturing and Refurbishment
- 3+ years experiences in Quality Control/Assurance
- With strong QA mindset and be able to communicate effectively; seeks to understand and delivers key messages to stakeholders.
