  • Occupational Health and Safety
    • 100% adherence to SNC-Lavalin global HSE objectives to achieve zero injury incidents and targeted number of perfect days
    • Driving the Project QHSE Plan including inspections, Safety awareness and trainings, audits, Safe Working Practice (SWPs) & Risk Assessments, Accident & Incident investigations, Safety Incentive Program, Safety Meetings (compliance with the legal requirements) and Emergency Preparedness Planning

  • Trainings
    • Develop training QHSE training plan and identify training needs as per QHSE issues observed, reported and recorded at site (i.e. NCs, incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions / behaviors)
    • Develop and conduct regular toolbox talks as per operational requirements
    • Monitor sub-contractor trainings to review its effectiveness on site

  • Incident Reporting and Investigation
    • Report all incidents to SNC-Lavalin top leadership and KASPARC within 24 hours of the incident occurrence
    • Investigate the incident to identify root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventive actions
    • Monitor the implemented correction / preventive actions to review its effectiveness

  • Sub-Contractor Management
  • Monitor the sub-contractor activities to verify compliance with SNC-Lavalin and KAPSARC requirements
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in safe manner and in accordance with Safe System of Work
  • Evaluate the HSE performance to reward or to give Safety violation notices as appropriate
  • Document Control
  • To prepare and /or review / approve QHSE related documents (i.e. Inspection Forms/Templates, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Register) and develop documents for other activities as required
  • Review sub-contractors QHSE plan to liaison with SNC-Lavalin requirements
  • Manage and follow up all SOP reviews and revisions.
  • Make sure all statutory requirements are maintained and updated as needed.
  • QHSE Performance Management
  • Monitor and mitigate the risks that may affect all project specific KPIs
  • Periodic monitoring of safety management system using Key Performance Indicators set by Global QHSE Team
  • Ensure all Employees receive an appropriate level of QHSE training (i.e. To have 100% of our personnel complete the SNC-Lavalin mandatory trainings)
  • Ensure all corrective actions are effective and completed in a timely manner (i.e. to have 100% of corrective actions closed by the due date)
  • Create a culture where we visibly display our commitment to working safely (i.e. To have 100% of our personnel complete their HSE Commitment, display it prominently and upload it into Workday)
  • Project Reports
  • Submission of weekly and monthly activity report containing QHSE dashboard data to client and corporate
  • Maintain record of QHSE audits and inspections
  • Maintain tracker for Behaviour Interaction Program (BIP), Imminent Dangers (ID) and Leadership data
  • Quality Assurance
  • Assisting QHSE Manager in conducting audits of subcontractors to ensure consistency in the services.
  • Qualifications
  • Degree Holder
  • ISO Standards Lead Auditor / Awareness Training
  • 5-6 years’ experience in Facilities Management Projects with capability to handle them individually
  • Language Skills

    English
