Due to business growth we are looking to appoint a Regional Director or Associate Director with proven Project Management experience. The successful individual will play a key role in supporting the growth of our project management team and the development of our wider team members. The role will involve delivering and winning work with existing clients, undertaking transformational regional projects, along with growing our portfolio.
Based in Birmingham and reporting to the responsible Director you will play an integral part in developing and delivering the business plan for this rapidly expanding team. You will have line management responsibilities and support in the management and planning of resources, development and delivery of the team business plan, as well as and fostering an innovative, collaborative, professional and inclusive working environment along with delivering major projects.
This role will be split between delivery and business growth with growth (both externally with key strategic partners and new clients, and internally across the entire SNC Lavalin business), as well as providing strategic technical guidance and oversight for other projects being managed by the cost centre.
You will be specifically responsible for the delivery of major commissions and support the Director in recruiting high calibre individuals that will deliver excellence to our clients and will stimulate profitable growth for the team, act as a mentor to others and drive the performance of the business forward.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Degree educated in a construction, Real Estate or Facility Management related degree
- Project Management within a Construction or Real Estate Consultancy
Other Skills
- Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identifies and resolves client’s issues
- Attention to detail in service delivery, communications and ways of working with others
- Demonstrably excellent analytic and communication skills
- Commercial awareness including the ability to articulate business decisions within the wider context and market trends
