Roles and Responsibilities:

The Reporting (Planning) Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with the team of professional planners and supports Project Controls Lead in all Upstream reporting and management.

  • Liaise closely with the Project Management team any other teams for day-to-day tasks and requirements.

  • You have considerable Planning & Scheduling experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client side or for a consultancy.

  • You will have experience in dealing with clients on daily basis in high pressure environments.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling.

  • Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6).

  • Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports & dashboards to the client.

  • Relevant experience of Pre-contract stage exposure pertaining to planning/ project controls.

  • Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary report

  • Identify bottleneck areas and alerting management as well as develop solutions.

  • Assist in the development of weekly snap shots as required by the client.

  • Attend meetings with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information

  • Developing the appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to client.

  • Be a team leader to ensure all deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Must have an undergraduate engineering degree from a reputable university.

  • Must possess (minimum) 10 years of total experience and 5 years GCC experience preferred.

  • Client-side experience managing PMC’s, LDC’s Cost Consultants and other stakeholders.

  • You will have experience in development and maintaining baseline programmes starting with very little briefs and input.

  • You have considerable Planning & Scheduling experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client side or for a consultancy.

  • You will have experience of working on high value, heavy civils/ infrastructure, and other building/mixed use projects from pre-concept to handover.

  • You will have experience in dealing with clients on daily basis. You will have experience in working in high pressure environments with very demanding clients.
