We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Airport Engineer to join our Philadelphia, Raleigh, NC or San Antonio, TX office. AtkinsRéalis is expanding, and we're on the lookout for a talented Airport Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC, San Antonio, TX, or Omaha, NE locations. Industry-specific development will be provided for this niche role if not currently obtained previously.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Perform project design, overseeing the development of design concepts by junior engineers, CAD designers, or technicians.

• Plan and review the production of engineering drawings, specifications, and investigations.

• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects, selecting the most cost-effective solutions.

• Analyze technical problems, devise new approaches, and provide alternative solutions.

• Coordinate work with project managers, guiding junior professionals and technical personnel in design and drafting.

• Manage projects occasionally, analyzing project dimensions, preparing cost estimates, and overseeing budgets.

• Uphold quality control standards in all work produced, checking computations, designs, and drawings.

• Contribute to other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

What will you contribute?

• P.E. license is required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering; M.S. or graduate-level technical coursework preferred.

• Proven technical writing and communication skills; eligibility for project management training.

• 5+ years of experience since B.S. or 4 years since M.S.; typical incumbent has five to seven years of experience.
