Senior Analyst Consolidation

Located at the head office, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Finance and Accounting, the Senior Analyst, Financial Information and Consolidation will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Perform the consolidation exercise of financial information on a monthly basis;
• Provide financial information needed for the preparation of the quarterly financial statements and MD&A;
• Supervise and review the quarterly cash flow statement;
• Review certain notes to the quarterly financial statements;
• Analyze balance sheet and cash flow items;
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses for upper management;
• Coach a team of approx.7 analysts and assist in tasks’ planning;
• Ensure that processes follow corporate policies and procedure;
• Identify and lead continuous improvements projects around the month-end close process.

Requirements:

• Professional accounting designation (CPA);
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting/auditing;
• Experience in consolidation and disclosure of financial information an asset;
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
• Results-oriented, able to deal with potentially difficult situations and time constraints;
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to interact and influence effectively with people at all levels;
• Good summary and communication skills;
• Team player, autonomous, conscientious and reliable;
• Bilingual in French/English (spoken and written).
