The Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Global Creative Design team. You will be working within a well-established team of motion designers, visualisers, creatives and developers, supporting projects across our national UK based business & other Global regions. You will be eager to learn, and be pro-active in improving your knowledge and skill set when you’re in the role.
  • If you are someone who has a great eye for design and knows how to tell a story through editing and animation and is interested in the possibilities of 3D and augmented reality, or someone who is a ravenous consumer of culture, design trends and new technologies – you could be perfect for our team!
  • You will be ready to support the team to expand our motion offering, understanding how to build a brand through motion. This role is key for our existing motion team, as it’s an additional role needed to help the team deliver on some exciting projects we have in the pipeline.
  • The role is UK based, but will also see you working on projects from both KSA and the UAE, as there are lots exciting projects in the ME requiring motion support which are in the pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Generating brave creative ideas with strong conceptual insight.
  • Designing across all stages of a project. From concept to completion. We’re looking for someone that can lend themselves to art direction, storyboarding, editing and animation.
  • Hitting deadlines, collaborating with wider project teams.
  • Supporting the Motion Technical Authority in defining budgets and timelines.
  • Presenting work to clients as well as internal stakeholders, anchoring creative in clear and well thought out strategy.
  • Good time management skills, coordinating with our Technical and Creative leaders to deliver work to a high standard of output within deadline, budget and to client brief.
  • Taking ownership of assigned projects/tasks.
  • Develop a friendly rapport with colleagues, locally and in remote locations.
  • Take responsibility and demonstrate initiative to continually develop and learn new technical skills.

Skills:

  • Motion experience.
  • You will be an expert in core motion programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator). Bonus if you have a flair for illustration, 3D and/or augmented reality.
  • Experience of all stages of video production and animation workflow.
  • Storytelling - whether it's editing, animation or 3D/augmented reality, you know how to tell a story no matter what the subject.
  • You’ll be curious; staying up to date with the latest innovations in animation, motion and design and sharing these with the team.
  • Leadership qualities, able to support in mentoring and leading the motion team.
  • You have an expert eye for design, composition, timing and detail. You're constantly looking for 'whats next' in terms of trends, styles and art direction in the motion world and know how to apply them with finesse to your work.
  • Comfortable with working on Middle East opportunities in a fast-paced nature.
  • Commercial understanding, including quoting and reporting figures.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to present their work.
  • Able to provide creative input and point of view across a variety of projects.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback with a great attitude.
  • Great team player, able to collaborate and work as a team both locally and remotely.
