Senior Scheduler Our Operations in the Southeast are growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 7 years of experience as a Scheduler on large Construction projects in Power or Utility sectors, we would like to connect with you. We are looking for specific experience preparing and updating bar chart or critical path method (CPM) schedules. This position will be located at one of our premier utility clients offices in the Southeast (NC, SC, GA, AL, MS). This is a full-time internal position with Faithful+Gould offering robust benefits.

Responsibilities
-Develops Basis of Schedule document.

Time management and control for the stakeholders and the project team
-Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules.
-Develops lists of design, procurement, construction and post construction activities based on review of design documents, examination of site conditions and discussions with Owners, design consultants and contractors.
-Identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items.
-Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
-Develops realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
-Assigns resources (cost, labor or material) to activities and develops cash flow reports and resource histograms.
-Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences.
-Updates Master Schedule with actual progress based on their own site verification of the status of activities.
-Identifies schedule changes and trends.

-Incorporates approved changes into the project CPM schedule as separate and identifiable activities.

-Prepares the Monthly Manpower Report based on input from the Contractor and CM Inspector's Daily Reports.

-Prepares a graph each month plotting actual vs forecasted manpower and reviews reasons for significant variances with the PM.
-Develops earned value reports.
-Suggests corrective actions and/or develop recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur.
-Perform schedule claims analysis, including, creating an as-built schedule, identifying concurrent delays, abnormal weather delays, etc. to assist the M in preparing a response to the Contractors request for a time extension.

-Conducts a detailed review of the Engineer's and Contractor's CPM schedule submission each month and provides a written report to the PM on all significant variances.
-Prepares post construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field
-Seven years relevant experience  in scheduling power generation, transmission, distribution, and/or substation projects.
-Must have strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
-Strong understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit
-Proficiency in Primavera scheduling products (P6) and report preparation skills
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
-Certification with AACE, PMI-SP, PMP or CMAA is preferred.
-OSHA 10 hour preferred
