SLEC Project Engineer

SNC-Lavalin Engineers & Constructors Inc. seeks SLEC – Project Engineer.

Review P&ID, create and review Mechanical Datasheet and assist disciplines to make MRQs. Develop project scopes, objectives, and project estimates, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources. Ensure project delivery on-time, within scope and within budget. Establish a project execution plan and quality plan. Understand, oversee, measure and communicate project KPI performance to internal / external stakeholders. Ensure internal and external project reporting requirements are met. Perform quality checks on engineering package, create constructability plan and provide construction management services and support on-site. Coordinate with field personnel and third party testing agencies to support the execution of the Quality Assurance activities during construction. Oversee the contractors Quality Control activities. Manage the Submittal Review, RFIs. Manage sign-off of projects with subcontractors. Manage client and vendor relationships. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Travel to project sites required approximately 25% of the time. May be assigned to various unanticipated project sites in the United States.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years experience as a Quality Process Engineer or related occupation. Must have at least 2 years experience in root cause analysis, FMEA, API, ASME & ISO Standards.
