We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Austin, TX.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Advance user of both Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required. Most schedule reviews will be in P6.
- Advance operator of Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Experience using forensic tools such as Acumen Fuse, SAE, and Schedule Visualizer.
- Reviews and comments on CPM construction schedules prepared by contractors; ensuring that the submission is complaint with the contract and/or specifications.
- Regularly monitoring the progress of construction projects against the real-time field information.
- Ability to write clearly and prepare reports that document the schedule review findings.
- Evaluates project scope change orders and negotiates settlement, specifically related to how it does or does not impact the critical path.
- The ability to perform forensic scheduling reviews in accordance with AACE recommended practice. Identify concurrent delay and draft a position paper if needed.
- The ability to develop detailed project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques. This includes identifying critical and non-critical activities, determining the sequence of operations, and estimating the duration of each task.
- Develops, prepares, and recommends company guidelines on scheduling.
- May research, review and analyze data to assist clients with construction claims.
- Ability to have pointed conversations with contractors when issues are identified, while also maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Assist the team in supporting proposals or other project controls functions.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with ten years relevant experience.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a construction project scheduler in the transportation industry or as a schedule reviewer working on behalf of a transportation agency.
- PSP certification is a plus.
