We are looking for Structural Design (Buildings and Industrial Projects), to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Mumbai, India.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Deliver and lead multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to programme.
  • Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design team and third parties.
  • Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that can support our client relationships.
  • Effectively manage own time which may be necessary if allocated to more than one project.
  • Be a technical champion within the team.
  • Present results to clients under the supervision of an Atkins lead designer.
  • Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures.
  • Shares lessons learnt and best practice. Proactively leads knowledge share sessions within the practice.
  • Leads application of digital technology on projects.

What will you contribute? 

  • Degree in Structural Engineering with 7 to 12 years of experience.
  • Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or near Chartered.
  • Have experience in Building Design.
  • Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis, Fastrak, and Revit experience are desirable but not essential).
  • Proven experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) to current Eurocodes.
