Student Field Coordinator - Claims

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assist the OLRTC project with various closeout duties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Coordinate deficiency and warranty claims to assist the Project Manager

  • Reviewing design documents and provide a summary narratives for review

  • Contractor invoice review

  • Assist with coordination of contractors onsite

  • Research trends and develop notices for contractual changes based off site reports and contractor work reports

  • Attend to site office facility issues such as material storage, file and document hardcopy drawings and records, and assist reconciling old invoices.

  • General office duties as developed by the Project Manager or Project Director

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Technical writing

  • Basic understanding of administrative process

  • Drivers License

  • Basic/entry level knowledge of general construction practices
