Technical Assistant

The Technical Assistant will be a key member of the Perth-based consultancy business supporting the Asset Integrity management for Oil & Gas Operating company and will be responsible for co-ordination of technical and project administrative activities. The role will involve close coordination & weekly update of tracking register and other assigned task maintaining high level of accuracy. High level of MS office excel skills required to maintain & update tracking register.

The role requires collaboration with the other disciplines, management and client representatives to ensure that the company’s reputation for high quality service is maintained.
 

Responsibilities:

• Updating Pressure Equipment Integrity management workorder tracking registers in MS office excel
• Generate request forms to update Client Work Order database to align with Atkins
• Assisting with project management tasks such as sending weekly timesheets, matching timesheets to final invoices, invoice approval and submissions and assistance in creating CTRs
• Assistance with document management such as requesting documents, requesting document numbers and checking documents before issuing to Client for correct issue purpose, signatures etc.
• Use of Client document management system to retrieve documents, check work orders etc.
• Maintaining Atkins registers for Client documents, action tracking, job lists and resource loading
• Organising meeting/workshops and taking minutes
• Perform all work in accordance with the Atkins SNC Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management System and within agreed time and schedule constraints.

Skills required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Good knowledge of MS Office with a focus on excel
• Excel Experience MUST be intermediate with abilities to use V-Lookup, create pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience working with Databases
• Experience with CMMS e.g JDE, SAP etc.
• Experience with document control e.g. Mclaren, DMS etc.
• Effective communication with operations personnel and client reps
• Administration experience
• Self-motivated & accountability
