This is a SNC-Lavalin Treasury role reporting to the Team Lead, Banking Structures.  SNC-Lavalin’s Treasury team is split across two centres with the majority sitting in the main Montreal (Canada) office and a smaller team of 6 based in the UK.  Treasury is a strategic partner in the SNC-Lavalin Group, providing various services to support the business, including cash management, foreign exchange, guarantees and banking administration.

The key responsibilities of the Treasury Assistant will be to support the Banking Structures team with banking activities:

to assist with internet banking admin

to assist with Group bank accounts

Main responsibilities

The following will make up the main responsibilities of this role but there may be other items that are required from time to time.

Bank Accounts

  • Open, modify and close bank accounts
  • Amend bank mandates when required
  • Ensure Oracle is kept up to date with account information and signatory list
  • Ensure request progress is regularly updated in our system

Internet Banking

  • Create new users on the Group’s various internet banking platforms
  • Amend or delete user access when required
  • Regular audit of users
  • Monitor supply of banking security tokens

Audit

  • Assist with Group audit confirmations at half year and year end

Other

  • Be a point of contact for business queries on all of the above
  • Provide assistance to the Treasury team as and when required

Core hours

Full or part-time, but due to business requirements the successful candidate should have availability every weekday – flexible working is possible.

There will be a requirement to visit the Epsom office on a regular basis.

Reporting line and Direct Reports

This role will report to the Team Lead, Banking Structures and will have no direct reports.

Qualifications/Skills

Essential

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to pick up new ideas, new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Experience in a large multinational corporate

Highly Desirable

Experience in a Treasury environment

Experience of bank account management
