Our Programme Advisory team:

Our Programme Advisory team exists to transform the capabilities of our clients’ organisations and set-up their programmes for success, creating lasting legacies. We do this through providing a number of services including business diagnostics, operating model design, delivery of transformation programmes and optimising organisational performance. We work with a varied range of clients, across public and private sectors.

What we’re looking for?

To help accelerate the growth of this team, we are looking for an ambitious and respected Associate Director with strong experience in these areas, and who is passionate about working in these industry sectors. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Programme Advisory team in London and the South East and play a key role in the evolution of our capability, service offer and growth. Responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium client engagements, often within complex stakeholder environments, whilst managing commercial risk to the business
  • Lead the relationship with key client stakeholders to manage expectations, establish an environment of trust and deliver outstanding client satisfaction
  • Manage team members as part of client delivery or through internal line management
  • Lead delivery and assurance of cient deliverables, setting new standards in service excellence
  • Identify and convert opportunities for further business, including leading or contributing to bid proposals
  • Help us to improve what we do and how we do it by driving meaningful internal initiatives, including internal toolkits, products, service propositions and business engagement
  • Support, coach and mentor other members of the team to support their development and progression
  • Work with the wider business to deliver integrated services to our clients
  • Help grow the team by supporting the recruitment of others

Requirements:

  • Sector knowledge (construction / capital programme delivery / built environment) with a strong understanding of large-scale projects and programmes – their component parts (e.g. governance, assurance, controls, lifecycle processes, etc) and how functions combine to deliver outcomes
  • An outstanding track record of delivering value, ideally in a consulting/advisory business, showing creative problem-solving skills
  • Deep knowledge and experience in two or more of the following topics:
  • Business diagnostics and maturity assessments
  • Target Operating Model design and development (including focused elements of operating models (e.g. governance design, organisational design, etc)
  • Transformation programme setup and delivery (qualifications such as MSP are desirable)
  • Business change management (qualifications such as PROSCI or APMG Change Management are desirable)
  • Understanding of programme data management and digital tool solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Very strong project management skills with the ability to manage the delivery, commercial and financial aspects of client engagements
  • Workshop design and facilitation
  • Strong commercial awareness including the ability to identify and manage profitability
  • Experience with supporting work winning activities. 
  • High standard of proficiency in oral and written communication with attention to detail
