You will have a strong analytical background and a desire to develop in the field of structural engineering and analysis. In addition to this, you will be able to work with other teams in the UK, and worldwide, to develop cross-discipline capabilities. You will have the potential and desire to progress to Senior Engineer status and beyond. We are looking for Associate Engineer (Structures) , to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore, IN.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills that can support our client relationships.
• Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
• Contribute to the development of the multi-disciplined project team’s approach.
• Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters.
• Undertake research, data collection and presentation of information.
• Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures.
• Be aware of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan.
• Experience with parametric modelling software is desirable and may be a development target.
• Shares lessons learnt and best practice. Proactively leads knowledge share sessions within the practice.
• Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team.

What will you contribute?

• Degree in Structural Engineering with 4 to 7 years of experience.
• Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or near Chartered.
• Have experience in Building Design.
• Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis, Fastrak, and Revit experience are desirable but not essential).
• Proven experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) to current Eurocodes
