Do you think differently? Are you someone with good marketing awareness and able to influence those around you? We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Marketing Specialist to join our Nuclear Products and Technology team to manage and improve all our internal and external marketing requirements. You will be responsible for leading and supporting several key initiatives, across the UK, Europe, Middle East, US and Canadian Markets. You will report to our Chief Technology Officer and the core Products and Technology Team.

The Role:

This role is to strengthen the Products and Technology team’s capacity to engage with their Nuclear Clients in the global market.

This role will involve:

  • Creating and owning creative digital marketing campaigns for our P&T initiatives, working with Global Communications & Marketing (GCM).
  • Co-ordinating and leading multi-channel campaigns from start to finish, working collaboratively with the wider SNC-Lavalin communication and marketing teams.
  • Providing digitally skilled marketing expertise.
  • Being involved in the creative process from idea through to execution, including guiding the sign off process with risk, creative and other key stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver strategies and campaigns to support the launch of new products.
  • Provide timely updates and analysis on performance of marketing channels, in order to improve the conversion/success rate of key customer journeys.
  • Supporting the development of effective communication strategies for our P&T Team, including the coordination of external and internal communications flow (memos, newsletters etc.).
  • Drafting input for different communication channels (e.g., press releases, social media, website, video, newsletters, intranet etc.).
  • Planning internal and external events and seminars.
  • Building long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders across the wider SNC-Lavalin business.

The Person:

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, with meticulous attention to detail; you can work well under pressure and meet deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the candidate should be innovative, organized and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Previous experience in a marketing environment across digital and offline media channels.
  • Excellent portfolio with proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
  • Creative/ brand management experience – ability to manage the creative process of campaigns from idea and brief through to execution.
  • Experience working with website CMS systems, email service providers and a basic understanding of HTML an advantage.
  • Analytical skills; able to quickly identify trends in complex data sets.
  • Understanding of the workings of digital channels from planning to execution, be it Social, Email, Paid Search, Affiliate or SEO.
  • Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing is a plus.
  • Photo and video-editing skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient command of English.
  • Experience of marketing in a commercial and competitive environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable regarding varying scope and workload.
  • Stakeholder management; balancing demands from multiple interested parties.
  • Able to work independently, using own initiative to produce work at a superior standard with minimal supervision.
  • Mix of remote and office based working acceptable.

Duration - 9-months initial fixed term contract, with a view to review and extension.
